For more than seven years, we’ve journeyed the Earth onboard the M/V Alucia, using cutting-edge cameras and submersibles to explore the farthest reaches of the ocean.

Now we’re going bigger, with bolder ambitions and a ship to match: The M/V Alucia2, a one-of-a-kind ocean research and media platform that takes the OceanX mission to an entirely new level.

BLUE PLANET II

Blue Planet II is an award-winning TV series, produced by The Natural History Unit of BBC Studios, that documents the fascinating stories of the sea. Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, and released to international acclaim in late 2017, four episodes of this landmark series feature footage and discoveries from OceanX missions.

OCEANS: OUR BLUE PLANET

Co-produced by OceanX Media and BBC Earth

Oceans: Our Blue Planet is a giant-screen film that takes audiences on a global exploration of the sea, revealing the untold stories of the ocean’s most alien habitats and intriguing creatures. Narrated by Academy Award-winning actress Kate Winslet, the film can be seen in science centers and museums across the nation.

Unseen Oceans is an immersive, interactive exhibit that lets its audience experience the thrill of deep ocean discovery—including a virtual dive to the deepest reaches of the sea.
